The deep plan of the existing building presented an opportunity to maximise light and volume. A new open-plan living space sits at the rear, with large bifold doors and a skylight flooding the interior with natural light, while a new family bathroom on the first floor extends the home’s functionality. Contrasting materials complement the existing stock brickwork, and timber slats over the rear fenestration give the house its distinctive feature, balancing visual interest with privacy.
