Scope
Full lighting and distribution programme across a working depot, high-bay LED through the warehouse, external floods across the yard, emergency lighting on dedicated circuits and a three-phase distribution board upgrade sized for the new load with headroom built in.
Approach
Lighting design first. Lux levels set for warehouse working and forklift movement, beam spread chosen for the yard floods, emergency-lighting placement to current regs. The new three-phase board was sized for the upgraded load plus future-proofing for additional bays.
First-fix worked from scissor lift and cherry picker around the steel-frame structure, installing tray, fittings and supplies while operations continued underneath. Second fix and the DB swap were sequenced so the depot kept running through the change-over.
Outcome
Cleaner light at floor level, a brighter and safer yard at night, emergency lighting on every required route and a distribution board with the capacity to take on whatever comes next. Full test pack and certification handed over at completion.
