A former stables, previously converted into a 1.5-storey family home, extended and reconfigured with a full-height first floor, the raised roofline delivering a 70% increase in living space while respecting the building's original character and the surrounding streetscape.
The design blends traditional cottage elements with contemporary materials, dark timber cladding above a white rendered base, unified by sharp, defined lines that carry through the interior and exterior. A series of design options, developed closely with the client and contractors from the outset, balanced ambition with budget.
