How we work
One process, written down before you pay for anything.
Every project runs the same five stages, whether it is one focused improvement or a full build with custom tools. Nothing is quoted until after a build call, and the quote you get is the number you pay for that scope.
The five stages
From a free call to a measured launch.
Each stage ends with something you can look at and react to, not a status update.

Build call
A free 30 minute call, usually online. We ask what problem you are trying to solve, who your customers are and how they find you now. You leave with a rough shape for the project and what it would take to move forward, no pressure to commit on the call itself.

Scope and fixed quote
A written quote setting out the scope, deliverables, assumptions, timeline and price. That is the number you pay for that scope. Larger projects are split into stages, with the amounts and what has to be delivered for each one written into the quote before you commit.

Discovery and structure
How your customers search and choose, what your best jobs have in common, and a page map with one intent per page. This is where service pages, architecture and the plain-English answers buyers and answer engines need get planned out.

Build
The site, search infrastructure, any tools and tracking get built. You review and approve work at agreed stages rather than seeing it all at once at the end. If we do not hear back within 10 working days of sending something for approval, we may treat it as approved so the project keeps moving.

Launch and measurement
Launch with an enquiry log, GA4 and Search Console live from day one. You get reporting on which pages and queries are actually earning enquiries, and the system is extended only when the evidence says it is worth it.

What happens if the scope changes?
We tell you and agree the change in price or timeline in writing before any further work continues. Small adjustments are normal; anything bigger gets re-quoted rather than absorbed silently.
What happens if I am not happy with a stage?
Each stage is built around a feedback round before it is signed off. You review the work, tell us what to change, and we adjust before moving to the next stage rather than at the very end.
What happens if I want to stop?
Either side can end the engagement with written notice. If you end it, you pay for work completed and any costs already committed, and you keep what has been paid for.
What happens if Saqib is unavailable?
Nothing you have paid for is at risk. The site and any tools are documented as they are built, and the code and content are yours on handover, running on your domain and in accounts registered to your business.

What happens on a build call?
A free 30 minute call, usually online. We look at your current site and search footprint, ask what problem you are trying to solve and who your customers are, and work out roughly what shape of project fits. You leave with a shape and a rough range, not a written quote yet.
When do I get a fixed price?
After the build call, in writing. The quote sets out the scope, the deliverables, the assumptions, the timeline and the price. That is the number you pay for that scope, and it is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
What if the scope changes once work has started?
We tell you and agree any change in price or timeline in writing before we proceed. Small adjustments are normal. Larger changes are re-quoted rather than absorbed silently into the original price.
Do I see the work before it is finished?
Yes. Work is reviewed and approved at agreed stages rather than delivered all at once at the end. If we do not hear back within 10 working days of sending something for approval, we may treat it as approved so the project can continue.
Who owns the site and the code once it is built?
You do, on payment in full. The site runs on your domain, in accounts registered to your business, and the code and content are handed over to you. You are not locked into Automika to keep it running.
