01
Technical SEO
Server-rendered pages, clean URLs with 301 redirects, fast load on mobile, correct canonicals, sitemaps, robots rules and security headers. The foundations Google needs before content matters.
02 · Search & GEO
Google, Google Maps and, increasingly, AI answer engines. Automika builds search visibility into the structure of the website: technical SEO, local search, one-intent service pages, structured data and content that answers the questions buyers actually ask.
Plain definition
GEO (generative engine optimisation) is the practice of structuring a website and its facts so that AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot can extract, trust and cite them.
Classic SEO earns a position in a list of links. GEO earns a mention in an answer. The two overlap heavily, and both start with the same thing: a fast, well-structured site with pages that answer one question each.

Ranks, sometimes. Gets quoted, rarely.
A search + GEO page
Write for the buyer. Structure for the machine.
What Automika does
Six things, done together, and a seventh that runs for as long as the site does. Most of them are decided before a page is designed, which is why Automika builds search into the website rather than selling it as a separate retainer.
01
Server-rendered pages, clean URLs with 301 redirects, fast load on mobile, correct canonicals, sitemaps, robots rules and security headers. The foundations Google needs before content matters.
02
Google Business Profile set up and structured properly, service areas defined, consistent name, address and phone details, and a clear path for customers to leave reviews.
03
One intent per page. Panoptic Design has six London service pages: crack inspection, RSJ and steel beam calculations, chimney breast removal, extensions, rear extensions and side-return extensions.
04
Plain-English FAQs and informational articles that answer what buyers actually ask: what it involves, what it costs, how long it takes, who is qualified to do it.
05
Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList schema on the right pages, mirroring what is visibly on the page, so machines read the same facts people do.
06
Service pages, articles, tools and case studies linked so that buyers and crawlers can move from a question to the service that answers it in one click.
07 · Always on
Search Console and GA4 are verified at launch, consent-gated, and tied to the enquiry log. You see impressions, clicks and queries by page, organic sessions by landing page, and enquiries by source page, so the next content decision is based on evidence rather than a hunch.
Live example · Panoptic Design
This page answers one question for one kind of buyer: a London homeowner who has found a crack and wants to know whether it matters. It is the best organic performer on the Panoptic Design site.

How we work
Most of the value is in the architecture. Get that right and the content, structured data and links have somewhere to live. The person you speak to is the person who builds it. About the founder →

Straight answers
Automika builds search and GEO infrastructure for UK service businesses. No guarantees, no retainers you don't understand, and everything measured.
GEO stands for generative engine optimisation. It is the practice of structuring a website and its facts so that AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot can extract, trust and cite them. In practice: clear factual statements, explicit questions and answers, structured data and consistent business details across the web. We go into more depth in what is GEO, and does a UK service business need it?
Yes. Automika structures service pages, FAQs and business facts so that answer engines can extract and cite them, and adds Service, FAQPage, Organization and LocalBusiness structured data. Automika cannot control what any AI engine chooses to show, and does not claim to.
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings on Google or citations in AI answer engines, because neither is controlled by the business or its supplier. We measure what can be measured instead: impressions, clicks and queries in Search Console, organic sessions and enquiries in GA4, and enquiries by source page in the enquiry log.
Yes. Local search is built in for service-area businesses: Google Business Profile setup and structure, service areas and location pages where they are genuinely useful, consistent name, address and phone details, and review paths. Very Well Hung, a North London curtains and blinds business, received a Google Business Profile setup pack as part of its rebuild.
For people, in the order Google and answer engines need it. Every page answers one real question for one kind of buyer, in plain English. We don't produce thin location pages or padded articles. A page a buyer wouldn't read is a page Google and AI engines have no reason to cite.
In Google Search Console (impressions, clicks and queries by page), GA4 (organic sessions, landing pages and enquiry events) and the enquiry log (which page, which project type, which contact method). Search Console and GA4 are set up at launch and reported on regularly.
Cost
Search and GEO are scoped with the website rather than sold as a monthly retainer. Projects typically range from around £1,500 for focused improvements to £15,000 and above for full builds with custom tools, and you get a fixed quote after a short build call. Pricing sets out what sits at each end of that range.
