Pricing

Pricing built around what you’re actually building.

Automika quotes a fixed price per project after a build call. There is no public price list, because a one page improvement and a fifteen page search programme are not the same job. This page shows how the number is arrived at, and lets you build the shape of your project to see an indicative range before you speak to anyone.

Projects typically range from around £1,500 for focused improvements to £15,000 or more for full builds with custom tools. Missed-call capture is £499 per month with no contracts.

What’s included at this shape

    Start

    Engagement shapes

Three shapes most projects fall into.

Plainly named, with what each one leaves out written down as well. Nothing here is a package you have to buy whole.

    Shape 01

    Focused improvements

    From £1,500

For businesses whose site broadly works but leaks enquiries in one or two specific places, or who want to test how we work before committing to a build.

    What’s included

    • One defined piece of work, scoped and fixed priced
    • A rebuilt page, a search-led service page, or one automation
    • Structured data and enquiry paths on what we touch
    • Handover, with the work in your ownership

    What it does not include

    • A full architecture and copy rebuild
    • A service-page programme across multiple intents
    • Weekly reporting or ongoing improvement
    Start a project

    Shape 02

    A full build

    From £5,000

For businesses whose website is the front door and currently isn’t doing the job. New site or full rebuild, built around the enquiries you actually want.

    What’s included

    • Discovery, search intent research and page architecture
    • Copy, design and build on fast, clean, indexable pages
    • Search-led service pages and structured data
    • Tracking, an enquiry log and migration with 301 redirects
    • Handover and training, with the code in your ownership

    What it does not include

    • Custom tools, ecommerce or booking unless scoped in
    • Weekly reporting after launch
    • Paid advertising, photography or video production
    Start a project

    Shape 03

    Build and keep improving

    From £7,500

For businesses where search is the growth channel and the site needs to keep moving after launch. The build first, then agreed phases of work, quoted one at a time.

    What’s included

    • Everything in a full build
    • A service-page programme across your real intents
    • Custom tooling where it qualifies enquiries
    • Weekly reporting on enquiries, sources and search
    • Improvement phases, each quoted before it starts

    What it does not include

    • A retainer or a minimum term. Phases are optional
    • Guaranteed rankings or traffic. Nobody can sell those
    • Paid advertising budget or management
    Start a project

    Side by side

    What sits inside each shape.

Anything marked as an add-on is real work with a real price, not an upsell we hide until later. Anything marked with a dash is genuinely not in that shape.

Starting prices exclude VAT. Every project is quoted individually after a build call.

    What moves the number

Six things that change the price.

If you want a cheaper project, these are the levers. None of them are secret, and none of them are padding.

How many intents and service pages

One page that answers one question costs a fraction of a programme that covers fifteen. Search-led service pages are the single biggest driver of scope on most website projects, because each one needs research, its own copy and its own structured data.

    Whether the copy already exists

If you can supply the words, we build to them. If we write them, that is real work: interviews, drafts, revisions, and the search research behind each page. Copywriting typically adds between a few hundred pounds and several thousand depending on page count.

    Custom tooling

A calculator, a checker or a qualifier is software, not a page. It needs logic, edge cases, testing and a result people can act on. It also tends to be the thing that changes the quality of the enquiries you get, so it is often worth the money.

    Integrations

Connecting to a CRM, a booking system, a payment provider or an existing back office adds cost in proportion to how well documented that system is. A modern API is cheap to work with. A system with no API is not.

    Migration and redirects

Moving an existing site means mapping every old URL to a new one and putting 301 redirects in place so you keep the rankings you already have. A ten page site is quick. A site with two hundred old URLs and a messy history is not.

    Photography

Real photographs of your work and your team make a service business look credible. We do not shoot photography, so it is either your existing images, a photographer you commission, or licensed stock. Either way it sits outside the build price.

    Questions

If something here isn’t clear, ask before you book. Email hello@automika.co.uk.

    What does a website cost?

Automika does not publish fixed prices, because a one page improvement and a fifteen page search programme are different pieces of work. Projects typically range from around £1,500 for focused improvements to £15,000 or more for a full build with custom tools. The estimator on this page gives you an indicative range in about thirty seconds.

    How do you quote?

We look at your current site and search footprint, then hold a 30 minute build call. After that you get a written fixed quote setting out the scope, the price and the timeline. The quote is the number you pay for that scope. If the scope changes later, we price the change before we do it.

    Do you charge a retainer?

No. Projects are quoted at a fixed price, and ongoing improvement work is quoted phase by phase so you can stop after any phase. The one recurring product Automika sells is missed-call capture at £499 per month, with no contracts.

What if I only need part of it?

That is normal. Plenty of work starts as one focused improvement: a rebuilt enquiry page, a single search-led service page, tracking and an enquiry log, or one automation. Focused improvements typically start from around £1,500. If the rest turns out to be worth doing, it gets scoped and quoted separately.

Do you offer payment in stages?

Yes. Larger projects are split into stages, and the stages, the amounts and what has to be delivered for each one are written into the quote before you commit.

What is not included in a build price?

Paid advertising budget and management, photography and video production, and third party costs such as domain registration, paid app subscriptions and stock imagery licences. Third party costs are passed on at cost and listed in the quote rather than marked up.

    Who owns the work?

You do. The site runs on your domain, in accounts registered to your business, and the code and content are handed over to you at the end of the project. You are not locked into Automika to keep the site running.
