Client
Foster Electrics is an electrical contractor working on rewires and renovation electrics for homes across North London and Hertfordshire. The work is domestic, hands-on and local, the kind of business that lives or dies by reputation and by which jobs the phone rings with.
What we're building
Three concept directions, built as working pages so the owner could react to something real rather than a document: the trusted rewire specialist (leads with rewires, fuse boards, EICRs and lighting), the renovation and extension electrician (positions the business alongside builders and architects), and trusted in your home (leads with reliability and care, for a broad domestic mix). None commits to prices, reviews or service areas that have not been confirmed.
Our recommendation is to lead with higher-ticket domestic upgrades, rewires, fuse boards, EICRs and lighting, rather than price-led call-outs, grounded in work the business already does. Then the website and local search: a website structured around the chosen services, local search set up for the confirmed areas, and enquiry paths that capture what kind of job is being asked about.
Why we're building it this way
A website built before the business knows which work it wants will describe the work it already gets, so testing the direction first with working concepts, rather than written options, costs days rather than a rebuild. Reviews, qualifications, postcodes and prices are held back until confirmed; placeholders are marked as placeholders.
What happens next
The owner chooses the direction. Automika then builds the website around it, sets up local search for the confirmed service areas, and tracks enquiries by job type from launch so the positioning can be judged on the work it brings in, not on opinion. Results will be published here only when they are measured, time-bound and approved by the client.
